FAQs

Frequently asked questions about AC and DC EV charger installation to help you make confident and informed decisions.
We provide EV charger installation and after-sales service in all provinces across Thailand.
MOOSE MASTER has been operating for over 5 years, with experience in more than 3,000 EV charger installation projects nationwide.
We have successfully completed over 3,000 EV charger installations for residential, commercial, and public sector clients across Thailand.

Before installation, we recommend preparing the following information:

  • Photos of your electrical panel/main breaker and electricity meter

  • Photos or the exact location where the EV charger will be installed (parking area)

  • Approximate distance from the electrical panel to the installation point

  • Your latest electricity bills (1–3 months) to assess power usage

If you are unsure, the MOOSE MASTER team can conduct an on-site inspection and assessment for you.

EV chargers are generally divided into two main types:

AC Charger
Commonly used in homes and condominiums. Charging power is moderate, charging time is longer, and it is ideal for overnight charging.

DC Charger (Fast Charger)
High-power fast charging, suitable for public charging stations, businesses, and locations that require quick vehicle turnaround.

The MOOSE MASTER team can help recommend the most suitable charger type based on your usage and budget.

Installation costs depend on several factors, such as:

  • EV charger brand and model

  • Charging power (kW)

  • Existing electrical system and cable distance

In general, home EV charger installation starts from tens of thousands of baht (charger + installation). MOOSE MASTER always provides a clear and itemized quotation before you make a decision.

We strongly do not recommend self-installation, as EV chargers involve high-power electrical systems and long-term safety concerns.

Installation should be performed by licensed electricians or experienced installation teams to ensure safety standards, reduce risks such as short circuits or fire, and avoid affecting the charger warranty.

You can check compatibility from:

  • Your EV or PHEV vehicle manual (charging connector type and supported power)

  • Charging connector standard (e.g. Type 2, CCS2, CHAdeMO)

  • Supported AC charging power (e.g. 7.4kW, 11kW) and DC charging compatibility

If you are unsure, simply provide your vehicle model to MOOSE MASTER and we will help select the right EV charger for you.

Warranty coverage depends on the brand and model, typically including:

  • Manufacturer warranty for the EV charger (usually 1–3 years, depending on brand)

  • Installation workmanship warranty provided by MOOSE MASTER, as specified in the quotation or contract

All warranty details will be clearly explained before installation to ensure your confidence in both the product and service.

In some cases, you may purchase the charger only. However, we strongly recommend using the MOOSE MASTER installation team or certified electricians because:

  • To ensure long-term safety

  • To meet electrical standards

  • Some warranty conditions may apply only if installation is performed by certified professionals

If you wish to install it yourself, please contact our team. We will advise you on proper guidelines and explain warranty conditions before you decide.
